Mark Kummer is a dynamic and results-driven executive with over 30 years of experience in the corporate world, specializing in sales leadership, business growth strategy, and complex deal negotiation. Based in Toronto, Mark is known for his ability to lead high-performing teams and forge strong C-suite relationships that drive revenue and customer success.
Mark spent most of his career at Cisco Systems, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s revenue. As Vice President of Service Provider Sales in Canada, he led a $500 million business, achieving a 10% CAGR over five years and closing multiple large-scale deals. His leadership is marked by a strong emphasis on inclusivity, energy, and accountability.
In 2023, Mark founded Apex Growth Solutions under the Sales Xceleration banner, where he now provides strategic sales advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses, focusing on sales process development, infrastructure, and team leadership.
Mark holds a Master of Science in Industrial Automation from Imperial College, London, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from King’s College, London. He also completed an Executive Business Program at IMD in Switzerland. His passion for leadership extends beyond the corporate world, having served on non-profit boards including Kids Help Phone and the European Competitive Telecoms Association (ECTA).
